The Stanley Hotel!

I remember watching the shining for the first time, and ironically enough I was watching it very late at night during a thunderstorm. The movie was extremely scary to me because of the sense of legitimacy it could hold. The music, the actors, the setting, these all played their roles to perfection. But one of the things that grasped me the most was the hotel. The hotel was enormous and placed in an isolated location up in the mountains (a perfect setting for a horror movie). In the movie the hotel was haunted, now I believe more in someone getting cabin fever than the hotel being haunted. But I thought that I could research more about it and see exactly who if anyone has been affected by this haunted hotel and were their tales legitimate or not!
